On Saturday 22nd it was the turn of the Masters athletes to compete for Sussex cross country medals at the fabulous location of Coombe Farm, Lancing. A full report of the day is available on the Sussex Athletics website.
The Club came away with a good haul of medals across all age categories, as well as an individual bronze medal for Paula Blackledge in the V45 category.
Team medals were:
Women’s V45, Bronze: Paula Blackledge, Jeanette Kenneally and Manjula Moon
Women’s V55, Bronze: Gail Nerurkar, Cathy Ulliott, Tamsin Shasha
Men’s V40, Bronze: Louis Taub, Paul Howard, Matt Bristow, Craig Halsey
Men’s V50, Bronze: Dave Benton, Sean Gibson, Keith Newton
Men’s V60 Silver: John Lowden, Frank Ward, Tom Ulliott
