Could you help support Brighton & Hove AC?
Brighton & Hove AC is looking for more volunteers to help support the running of the club.
A great deal happens behind the scenes to keep the club going, and at the moment too much of that work is being carried by too few people. We now need to bring in more support, spread responsibilities more fairly and build a stronger team around the club.
We are currently looking for help with:
- Volunteer Coordinator
- Membership & Enquiries Support
- First Aid Course Coordinator
- Website Support
- Tuck Shop / Match Day Support
Not every role is a large one. Some can be shared, some are flexible, and some can be done from home.
If you care about the club and think you may be able to help, even in a small way, we’d love to hear from you. A little time and support can make a real difference.
What each role involves:
Volunteer Coordinator Help us organise and support volunteers across the club. This would include helping identify gaps, keeping in touch with people who are willing to help, and making it easier for new volunteers to get involved.
Membership & Enquiries Support Help respond to membership queries and support basic admin linked to registrations and club enquiries. This role would help make sure athletes are properly registered and that communication is clear and timely.
First Aid Course Coordinator Help organise first aid training when courses are due, liaise with providers and support sign-up. This is mostly a planning and admin role rather than a technical one.
Website Support Help keep the club website fresh and up to date, including results, athlete recognition, notices and occasional news items. This could suit someone with basic website or communications confidence.
Tuck Shop / Match Day Support Help support the tuck shop on match days and busy club occasions. A practical role that helps the club run smoothly and brings in valuable income.
