Thursday evenings from 5.30 – 7.30
Depending on group size, times can differ or overlap
U13 – U15 from 5.30 – 6.30
U17 and all ages and above 6.30 -7.30
Eric Davison has 20 years of coaching experience of the heavy throws and had many County, Intercounty and SEAA Champions in his squads over the years. Many have also become ESAA Gold Silver and Bronze medallists and SIAB Gold medal holders. He has had International athletes from Deaflympics Gold Medallist in Australia and Bronze medallist in the World Deaf Championship Bulgaria and Deaflympics Taipei who also holds the UK Masters record in her age group.
More recently U17 & U20 in GB International’s also competing in U20 in Sweden, Germany and Portugal.
Assistant Coach Tracey Brockbank has been involved in athletics since her daughter showed interest and in the last 11years have competed in the master’s competition. Tracey has experience of most events but likes to compete in the Hammer event and is also a Level 2 Official.

Bob always welcomes complete beginners to his group and his goal is to give everyone the chance to try javelin no matter what their standard or age. The group is friendly and supportive.
Bob has over 30 years experience in coaching javelin and has had numerous successful athletes including in European, National, English Schools, Southern and County competitions.
