Skye Widdows with Coaches Richard Carter & Peter Witcomb
A huge congratulations to U13G Skye Widdows, who ran a fantastic 1500m race on Wednesday 1st May’s Brighton Open at Withdean, coming in at 4mins 55.7 seconds!
Skye has broken the previous club record of 4mins 59.8 seconds which has stood for the last 35 years, and was set by Annabelle Ingram in 1988.
Coach Richard Carter says:
“She was a delight to coach over the last 2 years and I was happy to move her up to Peters group knowing that she would continue to be nurtured and she would strive to improve her performances and times.”
