It is with great sadness that we share news of the death of former Brighton and Hove AC member Dave Boxall, aged 89.
Dave was one of Sussex’s and British Athletics leading long-distance Race Walkers. He was still actively racewalking into his late 70s and came 5th in the 2009 Boxing Day Races.
In 2014 Dave developed dementia. He died on 8th January 2023. We send our sincere condolences to his family and many friends
