A mile race is being laid on at Withdean later this month, on Thursday 31st July at 7.45pm. It’s an official sanctioned race, with Nigel Gates looking to challenge the current V55 world record time – 4 mins 40.4 secs – currently held by Jack Ryan of Australia, and set back on the 15th December 1977.
