Tomer pipped at the post at Parliament Hill

January 25, 2020

Brighton athlete Tomer Tarragano missed out on the gold medal by the width of his running vest, in the under 20 Men’s race at the South of England cross country Championships in London.

Tarragano was overtaken in the last stride by Matthew Stonier  (Invicta East Kent) in a battle to the line. It was a great race, with a sprint finish in the home straight.

A silver at the regional championships is another excellent result for the Sussex U20 Champion who a fortnight ago, gained England honours for the first time, competing alongside Stonier in the Home Countries International at Stirling.

We will publish the results of all the Brighton athletes in the next couple of days.
