Thursday, 26 December – Join us for the club’s 92nd Boxing Day Races, now proudly renamed in honour of club legend and double Olympian CHRIS CARTER (father of junior coach Richard Carter). All funds raised will go to Whoopsadaisy, Chris’s chosen charity based in Preston Park, which provides vital support to children with physical disabilities.
We warmly invite everyone to take part in the run or race walk at Preston Park, Brighton. Choose your challenge – distances range from 1 to 4 laps, each approximately 1.1 miles.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or walker or just seeking some festive fun, there’s something for everyone and prizes for the best fancy dress!
To make the event a success, we need volunteers to assist for an hour or two as marshals, timekeepers, on registration and at the finish funnel.
- Setup starts: 9:00 AM
- Volunteers to arrive by 9:45 AM
- Event ends: Around 11:45 AM – 12:00 PM

Event Highlights
- Entry is on the day, so bring your friends along! Suggested donation of £5 or whatever you can afford.
- The toilets will be open for your convenience.
- First aid will be available on-site.
