Brighton & Hove AC sprinter, Anna Short, was one of three Sussex athletes to be included in the South of England Under 20 team to contest the “Welsh U20 International” at Cardiff on 29th July. The match saw Under 20 teams from the Midlands, North and South face a Welsh U20 squad. Anna, the reigning Southern U20 100m champion, struck gold with another sparkling run over the distance, sweeping to victory in 12.10 seconds.
Last weekend at the CAU Inter-County Championships (inc. England Athletics Senior Championships), Tom French leapt a seasons best of 7.28m in the final round of the long jump to snatch a well-earned bronze medal!
