Sunday 10th October was a great weekend weather-wise for running, and the rescheduled Brighton Half Marathon and Worthing 10k races both saw some great results from Brighton athletes.
At the Half Marathon, James Turner came home third in 1:09:29, full results can be viewed here.
A little further along the coast, the Worthing 10k was a very competitive race. The outstanding performance of the morning was from Linda Schofield, who was the first Vet woman across the line in 5th place in 36:24, a time that places her as the fastest V50 in the UK over this distance this year, and 7th in the all-time list.
