Pete Witcomb 9th in the World!

Congratulations to veteran athletes Pete Witcomb and Peter Crowhurst who have recently returned from the World Masters Track and Field Championships in Lyons, France. Both were competing in the V65 5000m. Pete Witcomb placed 9th in a time of 20:09.37 and Pete Crowhurst came in 14th in 23:47.56. The athletes had a tough time as temperatures soared up to 40 °C. Sarah Hewitt also made the journey and competed in the discus in the V40 age group throwing 32.92 in the qualifying round.
