Save the Date! On 26th December, join us for the club’s 91st Boxing Day Races, now renamed in honour of club legend Chris Carter (father of junior coach Richard Carter).
We invite all of you to take part in the run or racewalk at Preston Park, Brighton. Distances vary from 1-4 laps of approximately 1 mile each.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for some festive fun, there’s something for everyone!
If you plan to come down and show your support, we could use a helping hand for an hour or two. Setup begins at 9 AM, and the event ends by 11:45. Please reach out to Judith Carder if you can lend your support.
Don’t miss the chance to be a part of this festive event! Entry is on the day, and the Chalet Cafe and toilets will be open for your convenience. First aid is also available.
All funds raised during the event will be sent to Chris’s chosen charity, Amaze in Brighton, which provides crucial support to families with children and young people with disabilities.

The Chris Carter Boxing Day Races will be held under UKA Rules for Competition. The England Athletics Road Race/Multi-Terrain Licence number is 2023-47363. The Race Walking Association permit number is RWA23075-1.
