Hazel Bristow’s sons John, Andrew and Paul invite Brighton & Hove AC and Sussex Athletics members who knew their mother to an informal gathering to celebrate her. It will be an opportunity for people to gather to remember Hazel, to share memories and to view photos of her life. They will be providing snacks, tea, coffee and drinks from the bar.

Hazel, was not only one of the backroom administrators of Sussex athletics, but was mother of one of the most successful Sussex athletics family in Sussex history, the Bristow – boys John, Andrew and Paul.
She was a school teacher but spent fifteen years as Secretary of the Brighton & Hove Athletic Club and was working in the Administration box at most Brighton & Hove meetings at the Withdean Stadium for some twenty years.
