This weekend, two athletes from Brighton and Hove AC represented their country at two very different events – and both came away with medals!
In Bengaluru, India, James Turner competed for Team GB & NI at the World 100km Championships. Facing temperatures soaring above 30°C, James ran a superb race, finishing 11th overall with a time of 6:53:17. His performance also contributed to Team GB’s bronze medal finish in the team event.
In Antalya, Türkiye, at the European Cross Country Championships, Tomer Tarragano represented Team GB & NI in the Senior Men’s race. He finished 19th overall, securing his place as the third scorer in the bronze medal-winning team!
