Aptly on the day our club’s 22 athletes set off for the English Schools Athletics Championships, we are saying goodbye to Sussex Schools, Brighton and Hove Athletic Club and Sussex County Athletics Association legend 𝐑𝐄𝐆 𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐊.
In the past, Reg would have driven to the ESAA pick-up points and taken age group pics of all the athletes competing for Sussex Schools before settling down to write his preview report.
Our club and county scene would look very different without Reg’s 70+ years of dedication to and knowledge of athletics. Rest tight, Reg, and thank you for everything. 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 #𝟏
