Brighton athlete and Sussex heptathlon record holder, Katie Garland continued her winning ways at the Southern CE championships. Garland won the gold medal with a points total of 5148. Her Sussex record is 5487.
Across the weekend Katie ran a 100m hurdles in 14.72s, high jumped 1.69m and put the shot 10.24m. Her 200m time was 25.14s, long jump 5.86m, javelin 31.50m before a 2:29.79 800m to secure victory.
