In their first decathlon since 2019, Brighton and Hove decathletes Bradley Eisnor and Joe Morris finished first and second at this weekend’s Southern Combined Events Championships in Horspath, Oxford.
Despite the less than favourable weather conditions the duo, who are coached by World W50 High Jump record holder Julia Machin, both recorded personal bests on their way to the podium top spots.
Bradley produced PBs in Long Jump (6.91m) and Pole Vault (4.oom) to smash the 39-year-old senior B&H AC club record to score a total of 6846. Joe had PBs in Shot (13.10) and 110 hurdles (15.81s) to improve his overall score by nearly 300 points to 5950.
