There were many fine performances at the County Championships, despite the changeable weather throughout the weekend. Fourteen of our athletes became county champions with Under 15’s Tom Eames and Hannah Brockbank and Under 17 Matt Smith taking two titles each!. Arguably the race of the weekend was the dead heat between Kevin Rojas and Stephen Ferroni in the 5000m. They were inseparable on the line, were given the same time and both came away with gold medals in their respective age groups.Well done to all athletes who took part as there were many others who made the podium or achieved personal bests. Full results are on the Sussex website.
