A week after winning the English Schools’ Junior Girls 200m title, Amber Anning was back in action at Bedford in the South of England Combined Events Championships. Anning leapt 5.16m in the long jump, clocked 12.34s in the hurdles and put a Personal Best of 10.95m in the shot. She took control after the High Jump where 1.54m put her into the lead. Amber consolidated this with a fine 2:27.84s run in the 800m to give her a comfortable victory with 3,218 points.
