On Saturday Emily Robinson travelled to Crystal Palace for the under 20 South of England Championships. In blustery conditions Emily, who is a first year in the age group, threw 35.81m for the silver medal.
The following day under 17 athlete Amber Anning won 400m gold competing as an under 20 in a time of 55.05s. This is her second fastest race over the distance and another Commonwealth Youth Games qualifying time.
Later in the afternoon Ian Crowe-Wright ran a tactical race over 800m to win silver in the Senior Men’s Championship in a time of 1:54.64. Ian is pictured here with his coach John Clements.
