Amber Anning was the only Sussex winner at the “School Games” at Loughborough at the end of the Athletics season.
Competing for the South West team, as all Sussex athletes were, the Brighton & Hove sprinter retained her unbeaten record for this year as she romped away to another impressive victory in the U17 300 metres in 39.50s. Anning reminas unbeaten over the distance for two years.
Still recovering from the ankle injury Edan Cole was below his best in the javelin but his throw of 55.66m still earned him third place
