Amber Purcell and Massi Campbell both excelled themselves to achieve podium places in the long jump at the South of England championships.
The breezy conditions at the Julie Rose stadium in Kent, played havoc with the run ups of many athletes. However, luckily for under-15 Amber, an illegal +4.9 w/s aided her to a massive personal best of 5.21m and the silver medal.

In the under-17 men’s competition only two athletes hit the six metre mark and Massi Campbell was one of them, jumping 6 metres exactly which took him into second place.
