We really dominated both the main Sussex Championships at Bexhill and the Masters Championships the weekend afterwards, with perhaps for the first time ever an athlete being crowned both Senior and Masters Champion in one season, so well done to V35 athlete- James Turner.

Team Champions – U13 Boys:
Ben 3rd
, Tom 7th, Zaky 10th (won by 1 point!)
Team Champions – U15 Girls:
Florence 2nd
(first race), Ruby 5th, Hannah 6th
Team Champions – U15 Boys:
Taylor 1st
, George 5th, Sam 9th
Team Silver (B Team): Cory 10th, Henry 12th, Joaquin 16th
U11 Girls:
Victoria 1st and Eleanor 2nd – identical times in an amazing finish!
Huge congratulations to Elzie, Ben, Florence, Ben and Taylor on qualifying for the Sussex team for Inter Counties in March 
Despite not fielding full scoring teams in the U20/Senior Women’s races, there were some standout individual performances in these groups along with medals for the Men’s teams:
Team Silver – U17 Men:
Alex finishing a strong 3rd , followed by Ben 8th and Sam 20th
U20 Ladies:
Esme continued her superb form with a brilliant 2nd, just 11 seconds from gold.
Team Silver – U20 Men
Freddie finishing in 1st, with Rowan 5th & Arun 9th
Senior Ladies:
Kathleen ran an excellent race to finish 4th, just 27 seconds off the medals, with Lois also producing a strong run in 14th.
Team Champions – Senior Men:
James Turner finished strong in 1st place, followed by Zared 5th, Callum 7th, John 9th, Howard 13th, & Kevin 17th.

Medals at Coomb Farm (Vets Championship):
The week following Bexhill some of our athletes were in action again in the Masters Championships (athletes over 35). The day has three races and we were first across the line in all three races. With James Turner winning the 35-49 race, Howard Bristow the 50+ race and Kathleen Law pulling away in the second lap to win the Women’s race.

We also team and individual medals for:
V60 Men’s Gold: David Benton (2nd), Keith Newton and Duncan Curtis
V50 Men’s Gold: Howard Bristow (1st), Louis Taub (2nd), Mark Goodman
