Training & Coaching

April 16, 2008

Here at Brighton and Hove Athletic Club, we pride ourselves on providing a high standard of coaching for all our athletes – regardless of their ability and tailored to their individual requirements.

Whatever your aim – whether it’s getting fit, training for a particular event, or to compete for the club on the track, field, road or country we can provide free coaching ancd help in finding the right training group for you.

All our club coaches are registered through UK Athletics (UKA), several are qualified to Senior Club Coach level.

We can provide specialist coaching for all events, as well as multi – discipline coaching.

Once athletes have become a member and gained a place on training nights they are welcome to join any coaching group to improve upon a particular event. For younger members we follow a syllabus designed by UK Athletics called “365” allowing athletes to gain an athletic understanding and coaching in all the main running, jumping and throwing events, creating all-round athletes with multi-disciplinary skills before establishing their preferred event.
