We much regret that Friday’s race walking training is POSTPONED. This is because the stadium will be closed on Friday for line remarking. This has been arranged at very short notice but is the only opportunity for the specialist company to attend.
To explain to those of you who don’t know the background, after Withdean track was resurfaced a specialist company was employed to repaint the track markings but they put some of the lines in the wrong place.
These lines are slowly being repositioned so that the track can be used for competition in the summer. This necessitates closure of the track and it’s most unfortunate that the last of these closures coincides with our session. However there is nothing we can do about it.
The race-walking workshop has now been rearranged for Friday, 25th April, 6.30 to 8.00 pm.
