There were some fine performances by B&H runners on the International stage earlier in November. Making his England debut 17-year old, Stephen Ferroni, did well to finish eighth in a junior cross-country event at Atupuerea in Spain. At one stage he was up with the leaders and forcing the pace but he paid for his enthusiasm and towards the finish he dropped away. Never the less his placing was a very good effort for a first international.
At the other end of the age range Peter Witcomb was involved in the England versus Ireland cross-country match at the Santry course at Dublin. Witcomb finished sixth in the M65 race in 24:53. He was the second English runner to finish and contributed to the English team victory.
