It’s been a busy weekend for javelin thrower Liz Korczak. She’s just thrown 47.30m to win the U20 competition at the Loughborough Invitational after her 46.87m at the Sussex AA meet yesterday. She’s now been invited to #MullerGames in June. Well done Liz.

At the Sussex AA #FestivalofAthletics at K2 on Saturday, Bradley Eisnor improved his High Jump PB by one centimetre to 2.02m and U17, Thomas Wells (pictured above), jumped 27 centimetres higher than ever before with 1.90m. Meanwhile, in the Javelin U17 Rachael Wall launched her spear over 40 metres, for the first time with 41.39m, and U17 Josh Clarke and U15 Eloise White improved their PBs by around 4m each to 49.27m and 36.80m, respectively.
Winds thwarted many of the sprinters’ hopes of PBs but there were scores of strong performances across all events from B&H athletes. Well done to the many U13s who were competing for the club for the first time.
