There was an excellent turnout at Goodwood for the Sussex Cross Country relays. We had 18 athletes making up 6 teams and everyone did really well. A special mention to Pia Lewis who, on the first lap, recorded the second fastest time of the day and who alongside Lois Dooley and Astrid Blackledge were the third team home. The boys team Josh Pay, Adam Firsht and Patrick Connolly did one better and won the team silver medal behind Hastings. To show our strength and depth both our B teams came sixth and were the first B teams home.
The league season is again going to be close and both teams will be challenging for the team title that is decided over four meetings.
