Amber Anning and George Turner both brought home medals from the South of England U15/U17 Championships at Crystal Palace. Amber, in her first triple jump competition leapt to a Championship Best Performance of 11.25m in the U15 Girls’ event, despite not once hitting the board! This parachutes her to the number one spot in the UK rankings. Meanwhile in the U17 Pole vault George jumped below his season’s best of 4.07m, but his 3.80m was enough to take the bronze on countback. Well done to both athletes.
