Whilst Brighton Seniors, Juniors and youngsters were competing impressively all over the country in National track and field and cross country championships, their elders were trying to roll back the years at the South of England Indoor T&F Championships at Lee Valley. There were plenty of successes, detailed below.
Athletes were graded not by age but on posted times. This meant that both men and women of different ages were competing against each other. This ensured closely fought battles which were great fun. The individual age group positions were collated after the events.
