Brighton and Hove AC regret any inconvenience caused to those runners who’ve had their entry money returned for a 10k in November 2019. However we can accept no responsibility for the actions of the event management company concerned, who were not acting on behalf of, or on instruction from, the club.
We will now take a short time to assess the situation and will make a decision in the next 10 days regarding the staging of our race in 2019. Unfortunately we’ve been left with a very short timescale to organise a major event involving road closures. Our aim is to provide a quality race for runners with no compromises.
The Brighton 10k is our club’s flagship race with a long and proud history and we have every intention of returning in November 2020 at latest. Please watch this space and we will update you as soon as possible.
