Once again, another great Sportshall fixture for Brighton and Hove AC. After Match 2, our team is still (just!) ahead of main rivals Crawley.
Despite missing some of our key athletes who were competing in the Southern Indoor Championships at Lee Valley, our remaining team pulled out all the stops to maintain the lead.
🥇 Outstanding Wins:
- Skye W and Naomi N secured victory in the U11 4-lap race
- Amelia H and Freya M dominated the U13s with wins in their 2-lap and 4-lap races.
- Florence M and Francesca C triumphed in the U13s 6-lap race.
And for the boys…
- Max B clinched the U11 4-lap.
- Rafa B secured victory in his 4-lap race.
- Matthew P soared to 1st place in the triple jump.
Special shoutout to Elliott R and Sam K, newcomers to Sportshall, who stepped up as scoring athletes for the U13 boys. It was a commendable team effort from them both.
