A huge congratulations to Brighton and Hove AC athletics family, George, Lara, Joe and Jenny Clayson who have completed a socially distanced, marathon relay to raise money for Brighton children’s charity Rockinghorse.
Today would have been the Brighton Marathon and it was the postponement of this and the London Marathon next weekend that inspired the run. George Clayson said: “The fundraising income of Rockinghorse has been severely depleted and yet children are still getting sick and with Covid-19 the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital needs our help more than ever.”
The sporty family completed the 26.2 miles in 3:32.24 and raised an amazing £5565, smashing their initial target of £750.
